I see it coming faster than i anticipated,once upon a time you need to have a knowledge of computers to get a job, but I see programming and a adequate use of soft-wares as the new thing and Africa has been slow to adapt to this impending change. It would be wise to start getting computer savvy in-terms of programming and manipulation of soft-wares.I think every one should be proficient in at least one programming language like java,c++,python,c#,etc. and if you have a laptop or a smart phone you could start by downloading a compiler like eclipse,net-bean, etc, to aid your learning and practice whenever you are chanced who know you may become the next celebrated computer person.
In foreign countries programs like Hour of code, have been implemented to get children coding at a very young age there by producing a generation of coders .Realising the girls were not actively involved in this new revolution more appetizing programs have been implemented for them .Do not be left behind get coding
