I like the definition of an entrepreneur as, "someone who perceives an opportunity and creates/innovates an organisation to pursue it." It has been statistically proven that 60% of entrepreneurs are crafts people(people with a particular skill and a degree of expertise) and 30% are owners of small business like traders,I mean that woman selling roasted plantains and yams at the round about who saw the need of these products and did not just discussed with her friends to show how creative she was, but went ahead to purchase an umbrella and equipment to pursue that opportunity.
Examples of the 60% are those who own game repair shops, phone repairs, etc. Most at times these creative genii are not educated enough to take there organisation to the the next level
Most educated folks look down on these minds whom there are lower down on the hierarchy of creativity and are moving towards a company job which is consistently moving towards down- sizing, further others may never bring their education to their business playing it the old way or those whom parents own businesses, when they do, the parent may not listen because they think the child does not have any experience about what he is talking about. I bet the few who listened will rise to the membership of an empire standard . LISTEN,LEARN MORE,DO MOST(LLD) as I like to call it.
