MTN AND THEIR OJORO

Image result for mtn  It is no new thing that the telecoms company in Nigeria has made it a duty to steal from their customers how can you play a game with 100 naira and stand a chance to win 1 million naira "YOU BE THIEF" yet people still behave like does with acute insanity what do they say 'MAKE I TRY MY LUCK NA"  The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, said it has directed telecommunications company, MTN Nigeria, to discontinue the implementation of a tariff plan promotion called MTN TruTalk+ or face serious sanctions.
Image result for mtnThe commission said the action was necessary because the said promo did not follow due process before it was unveiled to the public can you imagine.
Director, Public Affairs of the commission, Mr Tony Ojobo, said the commission did not give any approval for such service and therefore has directed that MTN desists from further advertisement of the service in the print, electronic media or its websites.
The commission in a letter dated May 19, 2015 with ref No NCC/MTN/18/15 and signed by the Head, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement, Mr. Efosa Idehen and Head, Legal and Regulatory Services, Mrs. Yetunde Akinloye, said the records of the Commission shows that the operator has no approval of the regulatory authority before embarking on the new promotional tariff plan.
The Commission’s Compliance Unit also revealed that the new tariff with daily access fee of N5, allows subscribers to call all networks at 11k/sec and N20k/sec to UK, USA, India, Canada and China.
Idehen said “the Commission’s investigations showed that MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd has already configured this tariff plan on their network and has therefore implemented same without the appropriate regulatory approval.
