West is not known for his humility, but for his ability to trumpet his talent and worldview at every chance. On his latest release, Yeezus, he even has a song titled, “I Am A God.” So you would think that the “Book of Yeezus” would be the next line in the variety of products West offers. It’s not.

Two artists have taken the liberty of replacing any reference to God in the book of Genesis with West’s name. On their website, the artists defend their work as, “a social commentary on the religion and spectacle of media icons in the 21st century.” In an interview with the Christian post, one of the authors (who declined to reveal his identity) said that as society has become more intellectual, the less compatible God has become to society. “The reason we say what would the Bible look like in the modern world, it’s sort of how would the Bible adapt to this modern world view?”

Some readers might wonder why something like this is worth commentary. The world consistently mocks and derides Christianity and the Bible, why is this different? The difference is in the medium of art. There are many ways to draw attention to the fact that culture worships media icons. However, the authors decided editing sacred text to prove an artistic point was the best way to go.

The Word of God is necessary and vital to the Christian faith. It is the record of thousands of years of history and promise. Its words are instruction and life to those committed to walking with Jesus. It is the inerrant word of God to us. When it is used with artistic license, we should take note.

As the church, we need to examine our hearts and doctrines to ensure we have a right view of Scripture and who it points to. Do we see the Bible as God’s communication to us through His writers as inspiration from the Holy Spirit or just another text that’s handy to preach from on Sunday morning? Do we believe that Scripture is the sharp, two-edged sword as described in Hebrews, able to discern the thoughts and intents of our hearts? To Christ-followers, Scripture isn’t a rule book of dos and don’ts. It is that which points us to the person of Jesus, who John described as ‘the Word who was with God and who was God.’ Its pages reveal the commands of God to us and lead us in the way of everlasting life. It shows us the depth of the love of God for us.

 And that’s what the creators of “The Book Of Yeezus” don’t seem to understand. To them, the Bible is just another passé book that speaks about a God of old who doesn’t fit this modern era.

YOU MUST BREAK YOUR WAY INTO GOD’S REVELATORY REALM: God is Holy and Only righteous persons can see God. For you to break your way into God’s revelatory realm, you must relieve yourself of all encumberances that could hinder you,(like relieving heart from burdens).

  YOU MUST STUDY THE BIBLE: For you to attain any level of spiritual growth, you must study your Bible everyday. We must study to show ourselves approved, studying the word day in, day out( 2Tim 2:15)

YOU MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THE ABILITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: To achieve spiritual growth in your life, you must first acknowledge the ability of the Holy Spirit because when Christ ascended into heaven, he left the Holy Spirit for the church. Thus, if you don’t acknowledge the ability of the Holy Spirit in your life, you cant walk in one accord with the Spirit.

    Since the advent of mobile phones and its ever expanding functionality from cell phones that can make call and send text messages alone, to phones that can send emails, record videos, audio. Further smart phones now comes with instant messaging services( whattsapp, facebook,blackberry messager (BBM), browser, motion sensor, they are sometimes reffered to as palm touch their ability to function as micro computers is amazing and its portability has been its selling point.

    Nowadays young people every were are always pressing their phones during lectures, during services, in the bus while cooking, in the toilet, the list is endless but being attached or being too attached to a cell phone is it good ?

   Most young people have seen social network as the perfect replacement for socialization the notion is “why meet, when we can chat “ some  young adults and mostly teenagers can not last 15 minutes before bringing out their mobile phones even during important meetings they keep late night why because their mobile phone is on, they smile with no one talking  they walk around with chargers which they view as valuable as both arms, what are they doing? they say they want to stay informed but do not even know the trending topics for the last two weeks. Phone over use effect ranges from social, health, to physiological issues.

  Socially even at parties and events where people are supposed to socialize and get connected, for the next level they fiddle old apps, worse, going through pictures they have taken , pretending to be texting in other not to feel awkward. They miss out valuable information.

     For  the health issues there is a study that reveals that excessive use of mobile phones can cause or worsen health problems, now someone goes to the toilet with their mobile phone and comes out, goes straight to the dinning table to grab a meal consuming a vast amount of germs which may be genocidal.

 Cell phones as telecommunication devices send out signals and receives signals the frequency of this sent out signals if when accumulated can result to headache, impaired memory, lack of concentration, fatigue, dizziness etc are all symptom of radiation sickness.  

Physiological unchecked use of cell phones before bed cause insomnia according to a study by scientists in the Kardinska institute and Uppsala University in Sweden says due to radiation received by a user of cell phone, components of sleep believed to be important for recovery of daily wear and tear are adversely affected.

·         Experiential intimacy is when two people get together to actively involve themselves with each other, probably saying very little to each other, not sharing any thoughts or many feelings, but being involved in mutual activities with one another. Imagine observing two house painters whose brushstrokes seemed to be playing out a duet on the side of the house. They may be shocked to think that they were engaged in an intimate activity with each other, however from an experiential point of view, they would be very intimately involved.

But if the foundation is not laid well then it will be too easy to walk away from when ministry gets difficult. A calling to the Lord and then to ministry must be cemented. A coach helps cement your calling.

3. A coach can help you articulate an action plan. A grand idea is only as good as the plan in place to reach it. No matter the calling, no matter the goal, some type of plan, some strategy, must be put in place to move forward” Plans will change. Circumstances will be different than expected. Resources may not be as abundant as anticipated. Yet you need to have some sort of strategy. A good coach will pray with you, for you and help you think through what the initial strategy is and how it must be adapted.  You may be thinking of someone to be your coach. Call them, have lunch with them. Share with them your story.

    In a bid to achieve this " e-university " reputation,Rivers State University of Science and Technology has moved Cinfores to create a mobile  app for students to check their results. This is a good step in the right direction ;but this app is only for android users, this therefore limits the amount of people who can download this app like owners of blackberry and windows mobile operating system.
     However the blackberry Q10 and Q5 can collect this app via bluetooth or flash share since its RIM operating system is cross platform with Andriod OS also, the Nokia XL also has this capacity but with a few modification now students are complaing about their inability to check their results from the school website not via the app I believe cinfores had no spoiler alert that their first app. I think the information is rather premature since for a project like this they have to manufacture or contact other operating systems(ios, rim, windows) so students can have this app no matter the platform of their RSUST APP

HOW TO AVOID INTIMACY DISASTER IN RIGHT DATING

All right. Let's talk about getting physical during dating relationships. This is such a tricky subject, isn't it? Everybody has an opinion, from "don't even make eye contact" to "you can do anything but have sex

Simply put, God created sex to be pleasurable, that's why our bodies desire it and all the sensations that come with it. But sex was created to be enjoyed only in the context of marriage between a husband and wife. So the idea of avoiding all physical contact while dating is more of a preventative measure so that the couple isn't tempted to have sex before they're married.

1.    PRAY TOGETHER. Hopefully your boyfriend or girlfriend is a Christian (2 Corinthians 6:14-15) or is at least willing to support your faith. If that's the case, praying together before your dates is a great idea. Ask God to help keep your physical desires in check and to bless your conversations and relationship. 

2.    DON'T KISS ON THE COUCH. Or the bed. Or anywhere you might end up in a sexually-tempting position. That might seem kind of silly, but if you keep those doors shut, then you are less likely to go through them.

3.    BE OPEN WITH YOUR PARENTS. I know that sounds horrifying, but hear me out. If your parents have said you can date, then they're showing you that they trust you. By keeping them in the loop and allowing your parents to keep you accountable with curfews, physical intimacy, etc., then you're showing them that they made the right decision in trusting you.

4.    BE SEXUALLY PURE WHEN YOU'RE ALONE TOO. Watching porn or masturbating to relieve sexual tension is NOT going to be helpful in your relationship. In fact, it's more likely to be harmful. Whether or not you are dating, having a sexually-pure mind and body is still vitally important. 

5.    RUN AWAY. When things get too hot and heavy, call it a day or night or whatever and just put some physical distance between the two of you .1Corinth 6:18 says to "flee from sexual immorality." Say goodnight or "see you tomorrow" and get yourself into a cold shower.

God has promised that "no temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
