Have you ever wondered if you told some one about your idea
will the person steal it? well idea theft has been bone of contention for budding scientist, engineers, and entrepreneurs alike I would say it would take only a very intelligent
person to steal your idea, not saying you should
not tell intelligent people about your idea but take some caution because it
takes only an intelligent and creative person to point out loop holes concerning
your idea that you can not see, there by improving it.
It is one thing to have an idea and another to effectively
communicate your idea to well enough to spur interest in the listener, the person
cannot see one-quarter of what you see but a quarter is enough to keep him
listening , but if the person takes his time to inject himself well enough by
consistent thinking he may be able to grasp half of it which may reveal the
potential of the idea., well before you discuss an idea with a person you have
to consider the following information I culled from fobres.
1. Avoid revealing too much.
2. Use non-disclosure agreement.
3. Apply for a provisional patent.
4. Trademark your name.
5. Research the recipient.
6. Document.
